APIC Advocacy Brochures
(see at end of page)

APIC developed two tri-fold brochures in conjunction with International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW). These can be provided to state and federal legislators and their staffs (and policymakers in general) when members of your chapters go on visits to their offices on behalf of APIC.

Both versions contain portions which are to be adjusted by the people going on the visits. These adjustable portions are indicated by underlined words on both pages. The document titled Brochure A can be used by those chapters who are aware of the numbers and types of facilities within their region where APIC members work. In this version, you may add to the types of facilities if there are facility types represented by members of your chapter that are not listed already. The bottom paragraph on the left-hand portion of the first page can also be altered in order to account for any differences in spacing that your changes introduce.

The document titled Brochure B can be used by those chapters without access to that specific type of information. Whichever version chapters decide to use, Chapter Legislative Representatives can feel free to contact me at APIC HQ to find out the number of members there are in your chapter so that you are able to enter that information into the document.
